Show Notes:
A really fantastic show tonight at Cafe Improv. This was only my second performance here, and my first one since the summer of 2013. This was a very energetic performance, and it really comes across on the recording. I was really pumped at this show, and blew through these songs super fast it seemed. Upon initial listen, I thought I may have rushed a bit too much, but after taking some time away from the recording and coming back to it, this show stands out to me much more. This felt like a really important show in my career, simply from a performance standpoint. I felt that I learned from this show exactly how much energy and intensity I can pack into a performance and I also learned a good deal when and how I need to pull back from that when needed. Without this performance, I don't think I'd be as good as I am at the current moment, and I wouldn't have had the success I've had over the rest of 2016 thus far. Enjoy!
