Show Notes:
Felt good to be welcomed back by the Molly McGuire's open mic crowd. The same people who ran that open mic in Rumson have shifted venues to the Colts Neck Inn--which is something I really couldn't be happier about. The venue is a lot closer to where I work and live and the vibe is a little more of a listening audience. I noticed that at Molly's there was a lot more of a "tune out" the musician vibe with a lot of patrons simply not there to really listen. Here, it seems the total opposite. Everyone is on-board with the music happening and the room is lively. I brought back "Crooked River" after a long hiatus. I finally reworked the song and added a chorus to it, and I feel it's much more complete now. Enjoy!
