This was my first time performing at Havana in almost a year. My last performance here was in mid February of 2015. It felt really good to be back at this venue. It's so legendary and so classic that I can't help but smile every time I walk through the front doors. It's cool to play on the same stage as some of heroes. Tonight was a really fun show--I played a bunch of songs I haven't played in a long time including "My Sweet One", "Lift Me Up" and even debuted another brand new original song to close out the night. My good friend and current Jam Lab band mate Leo Kalik joined me on four songs on Lap Steel, his new instrument of choice. He did an awesome job comping along and improv'ing some solos especially over "Gravity", one of the first John Mayer covers I've ever performed. This was the first time I've ever played that song in a solo show of mine, and it went over pretty well. Great night, great bartenders, and great crowd. This is Definitely one of favorite places to play right now, and I would come back every week if I could. Enjoy the recording!
