It feels great to be back on the road. I spent the majority of 2015 playing mostly private party gigs and just practicing and rehearsing and writing. I started working with a loop station pedal and a couple of other effects, which will eventually find its way into my shows when the time is right. This is always a great place to play. A nice older crowd that loves live acoustic music and lyrical content. It's a listening room, which means no one talks and you can hear a pin drop during the performance. As a performer, there's nothing quite as awesome and humbling as a audience watching our every move and hanging on every word. The format of the open mic changed a bit, as everyone was spotted 3 songs vs 15 minutes, so although I was caught off guard I made the most of it. I debuted a brand new song, "Down The Line" and its one of my current favorites. I like it a lot. Hope you all do too. A lot more to come for 2016, join me for the ride.
