Wow. It was such an awesome time at the social last night, it's really hard to put it into words. This was my first time playing here in almost a year, since April 2015 to be exact. There was a really nice big crowd that came to the show, and tons of people were really excited to hear me play again and were eager to talk to me too. There was live painting happening in the room as everyone performed and it added a really cool "music festival" vibe to the entire place. It's these kind of shows that remind me why I keep doing what I'm doing. There are people who care and who are listening. I was welcomed back with open arms, smiles and cheers. Couldn't ask for more. I opened up with a tribute to the late great David Bowie by playing a little bit of an instrumental "Space Oddity" that shifted right into "Save Your Kisses". Then some good friends joined me on "Your Train", although they weren't mic'd up, therefore their parts don't come through on the recording unfortunately. Overall, such a great time and a really awesome short show with high energy the whole way through. Enjoy!
